Hi, I'm Morgan! I was born and raised in Louisiana, and for as long as I can remember, I've been captivated by the interior environments we inhabit and their effects on how we live and perceive the world around us. These interests led me to start my career in interior architecture, focusing on the form and space planning of commercial interior spaces.

After earning my Bachelor of Interior Design from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, I shifted my focus to scenic design for theater and film. This change allowed me to explore new design challenges and enhance my ability to communicate effectively through storytelling. Scenic design provided me with valuable insights and perspectives that have shaped my identity as a designer today. I hold my Master of Fine Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Scenic Design from the University of Arkansas.

While interior design and scenic design yield different results, my approach to each project remains consistent. I am inspired by how various elements of our environments—such as color, form, and texture—affect our emotions, opinions, and perceptions. As a designer, it's my responsibility to understand how I can use these elements to communicate brands, ideas, and concepts effectively. I strive to create distinct, immersive experiences that fully engage patrons and audiences in the stories I want to tell.

Currently, I provide freelance design assistance through hourly services for drafting construction documents, creating digital renderings, and selecting furniture. Additionally, I design custom stationery and invitations for parties and events, along with selecting décor.

Alright, that's enough heavy lifting. Wanna hear the fun stuff?
